Dear Friend,

You've heard it before, but it's truer than ever: this election is too important to leave to others. I'm writing to ask you to exercise your citizen's right to vote; I'm also asking you to consider voting for me, and here's why.

Our congressional district is the fastest growing in the state. Nowhere is there a greater need for new and improved roads and transit systems that will spare us the hours we spend each day in traffic.

Our schools are among the best in the nation, so I'll continue to work for excellence and ensure that they are accountable, drug-free, and safe.

Our jobs are our lifeblood, so I support a pro-growth, pro-good-paying jobs environment in which businesses and workers can thrive and compete in the global economy.

Our health care system is the finest in the world, but we still have too many uninsured Americans, too high prices for prescription drugs, and too many frivolous lawsuits driving our physicians out of state or out of business.

Our country is the most generous, open, tolerant, and democratic in the world. No one ever said that fighting the war against terrorism and defending our homeland would be easy. So let's support our troops, law enforcement workers, and our mission to keep our nation and our children safe in the days and years to come.

These are my priorities.

I consider it an honor and a privilege to represent you. I love my job, and I will continue to work hard to earn the trust you have placed in me.

Best regards,

Judy Biggert
